His sculptures of trout, salmon, and steelhead were so realistic that they were often mistaken for taxidermy fish. He could draw, paint, and sculpt just about anything. Chuck was a wonderful artist and he found joy in creating many things. ![]() He also loved animals, especially his dogs, Toby and Buddy. He loved fishing, camping, and target shooting with his various guns and rifles. His favorite places included the McKenzie River and the Santiam River areas in Oregon. She enjoyed time spent outdoors in her garden and watching baseball, especially the Braves.
